A break in at a party store on Detroit's west side turned deadly on Friday. It was the store owner who did the shooting.
WWJ reports that four men pulled up in a van around 3:20 a.m. and jimmied the back door to get in to the Rightway Express party store on the corner of Joy and Ohio roads, near Livernois.
Once inside, they were met by gun fire from the store owner, who had been staying over night because of problems with burglaries.
WWJ’s Mike Campbell reported that unidentified male in his 20′s, died from the gunshot fire and two others were wounded. A fourth was hiding in the store and was arrested.
