The O.J. Simpson case just doesn't ever seem to go away.
First lawyers have on occasion asked white prospective jurors in the Kwame Kilpatrick public corruption case what their reaction was to the O.J. Simpson verdict.
Now we learn from Detroit News reporter Robert Snell that the federal prosecutors have hired jury expert Richard Gabriel who has worked on some high profile cases like O.J. and Casey Anthony, the Florida mom who was acquitted of killing her daughter last year.
Jury selection began on Thursday and is scheduled to resume on Monday. The judge has tentatively set Friday for opening statements in the case that could last about four months.
