Trying to drum up a little buzz, Midtown Detroit Inc. held a press conference on Tuesday to announce details of DLECTRICITY, a festival of art and light that will light up the Woodward Corridor in Midtown Sept. 22-23.

The nighttime festival will showcase 35 local, national and international artists from as far as Australia, who have been commissioned to illuminate the area with installations of light, video and performances, officials announced at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Midtown.

The popular festival returns after a three-year break. It includes a Slow Roll-style ride, a Light Bike Parade with decorated bikes.
