At this point, it’s easier to count the buildings Dan Gilbert doesn’t own downtown than to list all the buildings he does own. The Quicken founder and chairman added Woodward’s Kresge Building to his real estate roster today, according to Crain’s Detroit Business.
Neither Gilbert’s people nor the seller, Dennis Kefallinos, would comment on the transaction or plans for the building, but one suspects lime green paint may be part of the plan.
