DoorDash, an on-demand food delivery app, now delivers in Macomb and parts of Oakland.

The California-based firm allows orders from more than 1,500 restaurants, including Shield’s Pizza, Hunter House Hamburgers and Market North End, Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit reports. It doesn't yet serve Detroit, Royal Oak and Ferndale.
The service competes with UberEats, Seamless/GrubHub and Flash Delivery, Houck writes:
While the service may be convenient, DoorDash has been accused in the past of misrepresenting their relationship with restaurants by featuring their menus and logos without the business' permission while charging delivery fees and higher menu prices (the company has pledged to be more transparent about its inflated prices).
