Three Michigan State University students have been attacked during the past month by the same suspect, East Lansing police say.

The most recent assault was Thursday night in the parking lot outside Abbott Pointe Apartments on Abbott Road. Police say the suspect dragged the victim behind a Dumpster, where he physically and sexually assaulted her.
That crime occurred around 8 p.m. while it ws still light, according to the Lansing State Journal.
Two similar cases with the same suspect description occurred earlier, police say:
April 20: A woman was sexually assaulted around midnight at a secluded area on Coolidge Road south of Lake Lansing Road.
April 26: A woman was attacked while trying to enter her home around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of Charles Street. She was dragged to a secluded area and physically assaulted. The man also tried to sexually assault her, too.
