Andy Didorosi, founder of the Detroit Bus Company, tried for months to get the city to address an illegal dumping site across the street from his company's headquarters, with no luck. But when he started airing complaints on TikTok, everything changed.

A 60-second video posted a week ago got a response from police in, get this, half an hour. Didorosi took his TikTok followers, and WDIV, on a tour of the dump site, on city-owned land, yesterday.
Detroit police and the illegal dumping team came out to the scene. People have been detained and tickets have been written in connection with the site.
Didorosi’s advice? If you find an illegal dumping site talk about it, and post about it on social media. You can also report it to the city through the Improve Detroit app.
The site included random trash and a considerable number of that favorite of illegal dumpers everywhere, discarded tires. The cleanup is still underway. See Didorosi's video, below:
