Midtown Detroit doesn't have much when it comes to fashion offerings.
Now comes this.
Frank Witsil of the Detroit Free Press reports that William Adler, a former Detroiter and founder of Will Leather Goods of Eugene, Ore., , which has stores out west and in New York, will open its largest shop in Midtown on Wednesday a 4120 2nd Ave., in the former home of Tomboy supermarket.

The shop is 8,000 square feet and is not far from Shinola and Carhartt.
"This is our department store of artistic creativity," Adler told the Freep. "We've brought Oregon to Detroit."
The store sells leather bags, belts and accessories for men, women and pets. , at prices from $45 dollars to more than $1,200.
Adler attended James Vernor Elementary and Wayne State University before leaving Detroit to pursue an acting career, the Freep reports. He landed some parts movies and TV.
The Freep writes:
His brother, who owned Man Oh Man clothing stores in metro Detroit, hooked him up with selling belts; from that, he and his wife started making and selling leather goods.
Adler opened the first Will Leather Goods store in Venice, Calif., in 2012, and continued to grow and open others.
