Hiring a hitman has its complications.
The Monroe Evening News reports that Thanushan Rajendran,30, of Monroe, is due in Monroe County Circuit Court later this month on charges of allegedly paying someone $750 to kill his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
Reporter Ray Kisonas reports that Rajendran, who is free on bond, was a gas station manager and paid an employee $750 to carry out the job.
Problem was, the employee said he took the money and spent it but never did anything. Instead, he went to police, who sent an undercover officer to speak with Rajendran.
Rajendran allegedly made the same offer to the cop and an arrest warrant was issued. The paper reported that Rejendran no longer works for the station.
