In business, branding is important.
So Dan Gilbert's Rock Gaming, which owns Greektown Casino-Hotel, plans to operate under a new name -- Jack Detroit Casino-Hotel Greektown -- in October, Crain's Detroit Business and other media report.
Rock Gaming, which runs casinos in Detroit and Ohio, changes its name now to Jack Entertainment LLC, Kirk Pinho writes.
At this point and time, we assume Dan Gilbert will continue to be called Dan Gilbert.
And inevitably, wags online quip that the casino has been jacked-up or name-jacked.
