Michigan Governor Rick Snyder is free.
WXYZ reports that the governor was discharged Monday morning from Saint Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Hospital in Ypsilanti after being admitted last Thursday for what was described as a blood clot in his leg. Snyder has an Ann Arbor home.
The governor's spokesperson Sara Wurfel says Snyder is under some travel and activity restrictions while he continues his recovery, the station reports.
Snyder had been hospitalized since Thursday morning, when he went to Saint Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Hospital in Ypsilanti to have swelling in his leg checked out.
