Five people were shot and wounded late Sunday night outside the Penthouse Lounge strip club at 8867 Livernois near Joy Road on Detroit’s west side, The Detroit News reports.

Bullets flew after a patron got into an argument with a 37-year-old female employee inside the club, James David Dickson writes.

The argument spilled out onto the street where the patron pulled out a gun and started shooting, hitting five people before running away, The News reports. He is being sought.

The News reports:

The woman was grazed by a bullet and refused medical treatment on the scene. Four men who were hit — one 29 years old, another 52, two others 37 — were transported to a local hospital, in stable condition. Police did not immediately know if the men shot were club patrons or employees.
