Hit Play 'Hamilton' Coming To Detroit, But Not For A While

Here's good news for local playgoers. 

Oak Park native Jeffrey Seller, producer of  "Hamilton," the hit hip-hop musical, was in Detroit Thursday and said the play will come here in the next  2 1/2 years, reports Marti Benedetti of Crain's Detroit Business. 

Sellers, who was partaking in a chat at the Detroit Homecoming event being put on by Crain's Detroit Business, said the play would appear at his favorite venue, the Fisher Theatre.
