Update: 7:40 a.m. Wednesday -- Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, 47, who was moved temporarily on Monday from his Oklahoma federal prison to Philadelphia, has landed at his final destination: A low-security federal prison in Fort Dix, N.J., Robert Snell of the Detroit News reports.
His fellow inmates include 'Pharma bro' Martin Shkreli.
The move pushes him further away from his wife and children, who reside in Texas.
He is currently serving a 28 year sentence. With good time, he'll probably serve nearly 24 years -- that is unless a president commutes his sentence at some point or pardons him.
