
Detroit has plenty of vacant land, some of which is being farmed. Is it time to let Detroiters own farm animals?
WDIV reports tha the City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Wednesday night to consider a new ordinance that would legalize certain farm animals like goats, chickens and honeybees.
Today's "Listen and Learn" session will be held at Greater Grace Temple, 23500 W. Seven Mile in Detroit at 6 p.m.
WDIV reports that this is the second of two planned meetings.
In the past, some residents have had farms animals taken away.
