Update: Thursday, 1 p.m. -- In an unrelated road rage incident, a 36-year-old woman was arraigned Wednesday on assault, weapons and drug charges in 41 B District Court in Clinton Township after she fired a shot Tuesday at a man during during a confrontation on the road in Harrison Township, Holly Fournier of the Detroit News reports. No one was hurt, but shot hit his passenger window.
India Marchea McDougal, who has a concealed weapons permit, told deputies she opened fire after the man exited his 2003 Chevy pick-up after they had exchanged words while driving in Harrison Township. She says the man approached her vehicle and tossed liquid in her face, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.
She was charged in 41B District Court with assault with intent to murder, felony firearm and possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance, the News reports.

Police call the latest incident a case of road rage. Detroit investigators say a fender bender outside a party store at Fenkell and Lahser on the northwest side around 1:30 a.m. Thursday ended violently when one driver started firing shots at the other motorist, Jennifer Bisram of WXYZ reports
The shooter then drove off, WXYZ says.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The incident comes follows another road rage case in Brandon Township in Oakland County on Tuesday.
Fox 2's Ron Savage reports that a woman and a 59-year-old man got out of the car to argue. The man started beating the woman. When some people tried to intervene, the man pulled out a gun.
He then jumped in the car, but was caught by sheriff's deputies.
