It's hard to mourn the loss of a McDonald's.
The McDonald's in the Student Center at Wayne State University is gone.
The student paper, the South End, reports that the McDonald’s decided not to renew its lease and shut down Dec. 14.
Students expressed mixed feelings about the closing of the fast food chain.
Journalism senior Barry Lewis told the paper: “I am not sad that they are closing it down. It was expensive and the food was greasy.”
There are still a few McDonald's in the general area.
