A motorist is dead after crashing head-on into a Detroit Department of Transportation bus on Gratiot Avenue on Detroit's east side Thursday morning, Dave Bartkowiak Jr. of WDIV reports.
The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. on Gratiot Avenue near Jane Avenue on the city's east side. The motorist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five of the eight passengers on the bus suffered minor injuries.
