A body was found on the train tracks in Ypsilanti on Thursday, the Free Press reports.

The Ypsi police said the man must have been hit by the train Wednesday night or Thursday morning. The body was discovered by railroad workers at 9:25 a.m.

An unidentified man was hit and killed by a train sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning, Ypsilanti Police Sgt. Eddie Davis said.

The unidentified man wasn't carrying identification.
