More Detroit Gas Station Violence: Man Killed, Off-Duty Cop Wounded

Another gas station death.

Last Sunday, a man was robbed and shot and killed at a Citgo gas station on Grand River near the Southfield Freeway in Detroit.

Now the latest: Fox2 reports that an off-duty Detroit Police officer shot and killed a man at a Valero gas station on West 7 Mile Road on Thursday around 3 a.m.

Fox2 reports that the officer observed an argument between a man and his girlfriend. 

When the cop walked over to break it up, the man pulled out a gun and started shooting. Fox2 reports that the cop returned fire and shot and killed the man. Fox reports that the officer was shot in the hand.
