The last we wrote, actor Mark Wahlberg's chain restaurant, Wahlburgers, was slated to open on Monroe in Greektown on July 23.

Well, in the restaurant business it's not unusual to miss a deadline.
The latest post on Face says the restaurants is set to open in August.
We are blown away by the excitement of the people of Detroit and we cannot wait to open our doors.

Besides beef and turkey burgers, Wahlburgers serves a filet fish, chicken and portobello sandwich, hot dogs, salads, potato tots, sweet potato and regular fries and mac 'n cheese.
