The All-Star Game votes this year confirm what Detroit fans already know: Tiger Miguel Cabrera is incredible.
As of Monday, Cabrera led the voting for the All Star game with 1,500,165 votes. New York's Robinson Cano was second with 1,235,230 votes, according to MLB.com
Prince Fielder had the second most votes among first basemen with 1,059,300. Torii Hunter was third among outfielders with 761,937 votes.
The All Star Game will be held July 16 at Citi Field in New York, home of the Mets.
Cabrera also got another note of recognition.
He was named the American League player of the month.
