Say it Ain't So, Jhonny Peralta: He May Be Suspended in Doping Scandal

Tiger shortstop Jhonny Peralta, who is having a great year, could be suspended soon.

ESPN reports that Major League Baseball plans to suspend about 20 players including Peralta, for allegedly using performance enhancing drugs. Other players include Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees and Ryan Braun of the Brewers,

The players have allegedly are linked to a Biogenesis Clinic in Miamii.

ESPN writes on its website:

One source familiar with the case said the commissioner's office might seek 100-game suspensions for Rodriguez, Braun and other players, the penalty for a second doping offense. 

Peralta has been batting over .300.
