Steve Neavling of Motor City Muckraker suspected that Jacqueline Wilson, wife of Wayne State University President M. Roy Wilson, posted a picture of him on a flyer last month. It was displayed in the lobby of the Alumni Affairs office at Tierney Mansion, where she works on a program for homeless students.

The wall poster encouraged calls to  WSU Police Chief Anthony Holt on his personal cell phone if anyone spotted Neavling near the mansion, Neavling reports. It said Neavling was dangerous. When the university learned of the poster, it was taken down and investigation was launched.

Now, Neavling reports that email records obtained under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that Jacqueline Wilson did put up the flyer.  

In a Facebook posting of his article on the subject, Neavling, a former Detroit Free Press reporter, wrote:

Of all the bizarre stuff that has happened to me as a journalist, this ranks close to the top.
