Motor City Muckraker Video Shows Incident That Injured Firefighters

Steve Neavling, the journalist behind Motor City Muckraker, shot video Wednesday night of the drama at Chene and E. Ferry at which two Detroit firefighters were injured seriously by falling bricks.

The bricks, which fell from the section of the burning party store near the roof, are heard falling at the 1:27 mark, after which fire personnel are seen rushing to help their colleagues. One firefighters can be sen crawling away from the store. Truck air horns sound to warn crew members who are near or inside the building of danger.

The party store was occupied, but the owner told Neavling and other reporters the fire broke out when he left on a break.
