MSU Student, 22, Fatally Shot at Off-Campus Apartment

A 22-year-old Michigan State University student was fatally shot Friday morning during a fight at an off-campus apartment complex in East Lansing. 

The victim, who is from Texas, was dead at the scene, reports Kara Berg of the Lansing State Journal.

Police responded to a call about shots fired and people fighting at 2501 Abbot Rd. at the 25 East apartment complex about two miles north of campus.

The victim's name and additional details weren't available immediately from police.
