The legendary rivalry -- and venom -- between Pistons Bad Boy Isiah Thomas and the Chicago Bulls Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan was real.
A new documentary "The Dream Team" -- which focuses on the 1992 USA Olympic basketball team -- provides some insight into that strained relationship and why Isiah, perhaps one of the great small players in the league's history, was left off the team.
In a movie trailer, Pippen says of him and Jordan: “I don’t think we wanted to be on the team if he (Thomas?) was on the team, we’re enemies.”
The movie debuts Wednesday on NBA TV at 9 p.m. -- A.L.
