Boo hoo. Baseball player a little sensitive.
Freep columnist Jeff Seidel reports that Oakland A's Josh Reddick (pictured here) was ticked off that Tigers reliever Al Albuquerque kissed the baseball after fielding a ground ball hit by Yoenis Cespedesto to get out of jam in the ninth inning.
“I didn’t appreciate it,” said Josh Reddick after the A's loss on Sunday, according to Seidel. “I think that’s immature and not very professional.”
“It got under my skin,” Reddick said. “It was very unprofessional. I didn’t appreciate that one bit. I’ll leave it at that.”
“I don’t think one person in this clubhouse appreciated it,” he said.
Seidel points out that Reddick himself hasn't always been all that mature and lists a couple things.
