The operator of a drawbridge was taken into police custody on suspicion of being drunk after the bridge was lowered on a freighter early Sunday.

According to Elisha Anderson in the Detroit Free Press, the 45-year-old woman began lowering the drawbridge on West Jefferson Avenue at the Detroit-River Rouge border while a 670-foot ship was passing through on the Rouge River, near Zug Island and the Detroit River.

No charges have been filed in connection with the collision that occurred shortly after 2 a.m., officials said. A Detroit police spokeswoman said Sunday evening that she didn’t have any information on the incident.
