Unquestionably, the challenge of making the Packard Plant a viable entity is monumental.

Paul Beshouri of Curbed Detroit reports that a Paris firm has won an international design competition "to rethink and reshape" the crumbling plant.

 Nadau Lavergne Architects of Paris won the contest called "Reanimate the Ruins," Curbed Detroit reported. 

Curbed reported that many buildings would contain a combination of housing, retail and office space with parking and walking paths.
