Detroit Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder was named top dog of the week.
Major League Baseball honored the burly first baseman as the American League Player of the Week for the period ending April 14, according to CBS Detroit.
The station noted that it's the fifth time he's gotten that honor.
Fielder batted .632 (12-for-19) with four doubles, two home runs, 11 RBI, five runs scored and nine walks in six games.
Not bad. In fact, downright impressive.
