A former slaughterhouse in Eastern Market is being converted into a a prohibition-themed micro distillery.
Crain's Detroit Business reports the business, The Detroit City Distillery at 2462 Riopelle St., will have a tasting room that serves gin, whiskey and vodka. It's set to open in 2014.
