Even though Eminem raps in one of his new songs, "Walk on Water," about his eventual decline in the music industry, he clearly still has plenty of firepower.

Eminem finds himself back in a familiar spot with his new album, "Revival," the top of the charts, writes Brian McCollum of the Detroit Free Press.

The Detroit rapper's new album moved 267,000 album units in its opening week, according to Nielsen Music, outpacing Taylor Swift and G-Eazy to rank as the No. 1 album in the U.S.

He's now the first artist with eight consecutive debuts atop the Billboard 200, the Freep notes. Since "The Marshall Mathers LP" in 2000, all his albums have Started as No. 1.
