Rock City Eatery, which closed in Hamtramck on Saturday, opens Thursday in a larger space in Midtown Detroit at 4216 Woodward Avenue, Crain's Detroit Business reports.
The new space will be in a 3,600-square-foot space, Crain's Adrienne Roberts reports. The kitchen is three times the size of its Hamtramck location.
"This encompasses all that is Rock City," Nikita Sanches, co-owner and chef of Rock City Eatery, said in a news release. "The larger space allows us to experiment, to expand our hours. It involves everything we hoped for and everything we've learned since when we opened in Hamtramck three years ago."
On Wednesday, the restaurant posted this on Facebook:
