Memorial Day is a holiday to honor those in the military who serve their country and those who have died in battle.

On Monday, four suspected thieves robbed at gunpoint a group of sailors on Detroit's northwest side who were fixing a car tire before heading back to Virginia, Fox 2's Ingrid Kelley reports.
Deonte Shade, a Third Class Petty Officer, who was visiting his family before a deployment later this year, told Fox 2 that the four suspects made off with his items, including his shoes, clothing, jewelry, phone and even his Navy ID.
He offered words for the thieves:
"Get a job, honestly. You sticking up people, robbing people, how far you think that's going to get you? You're either going to be dead or in jail. "
Fox 2 reports that Shade said police caught the guys and recovered some of the property.
"It makes me feel a little bit better but it still doesn't change what happened," he told the station.
