Once again, as in the shooting of five Dallas officers, Sunday's tragic police shootings in Baton Rouge, La., have a connection to Michigan.

One of the slain Baton Rouge officers was the nephew of an Ypsilanti High head football coach and former longtime University of Michigan assistant coach, Angelique S. Chengelis of The Detroit News reports.
