In the world of the Packard Plant, deadlines are apparently meant to be missed, then extended.
WXYZ reports that Bill Hults, who put down a $100,000 deposit on this $2 million bid, missed the deadline Monday.
He asked to pay an additional $300,000 to his deposit and pay the full amount by noon on November 12. Wayne County Treasurer Raymond J. Wojtowicz accepted the extension on Monday, WXYZ reported. - A.L.
