Despite secretly running governments, carrying on the Knights Templar's war with Islam, and probably being reptilian "lizard people," it turns out the Masons have been unable to infiltrate metro Detroit's utility concern.
The Detroit News reports that DTE may shut off utilities to the iconic Masonic Temple in downtown Detroit.
Doors to the building — which opened in 1926 and is touted as the largest Masonic Temple in the world — were locked Thursday morning. A message asking for comment was left with management.
"Attempts to reach a workable payment arrangement with the facility's management have proved unsuccessful," said DTE spokesman Len Singer in a press release. "As a result, the facility was posted for shutoff on or after Aug. 26. Facility management has not complied with a recent agreement for partial payment that would prevent shutoff."
This really doesn't do much for the Masons' reputation as a super secret world-controlling cabal. Unless, that's what they want us to think! Somewhere in the world, a conspiracy theorist's head is exploding. -- JTW
