New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie seems to be everywhere. He's on TV and radio and he was even spotted in the Dallas Cowboys's owners suite during the Lions playoff game, hugging the owner.
Now, he's coming to give Michigan a big Christie-like hug.
The Detroit News reports that Christie, a likely presidential candidate in 2016, will be the keynote speaker at its annual Lincoln Dinner fundraiser on March 27 at the Palazzo Grande Banquet and Event Center in Shelby Township.
Doors open at 5 p.m. A private reception is at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner program begins at 6:30 p.m. Ticket and dinner costs $60.
The News reports that Macomb County GOP chairwoman Linda Torp said in a statement that her party is “ honored that one of the presidential front-runners … has chosen Macomb County for one of his first visits to Michigan as he considers a run for the nomination."
