With all the new restaurants in Detroit like Selden Standard and Wright & Company, you don't hear much chatter these days about the Whitney, a grand eating establishment on Woodward Avenue that first opened in 1986.
Well, the Whitney is trying to make a little noise and create a little chatter.
It celebrates the end of M-1 rail construction with some changes, Robin Runyan writes in Eater Detroit:
- It resumes serving lunch.
- Sunday brunch is updated and Saturday brunch is added.
- High Tea service expands to weekends.
It also has a new Executive Chef -- Paul Jackman, formerly owner and corporate chef at D’Amato’s restaurant and Goodnight Gracie Martini Bar.
