Chico Bruce

A third man suspected of raping and attacking couples in Detroit turned himself in at the Wayne County Jail on Monday, but not before telling TV crews that authorities have the wrong guy.

"They got me on the run for something I haven't done," Chico Bruce said, according to a report by Fox 2's Taryn Asher. "Why wouldn't I turn myself in."

Asher reports that he had his family by his side as he turned himself in. He cried, clutched his newborn baby and said a prayer before surrendering to authorities.

"I'm here, I'm turning myself in," Bruce said. "Doing the right thing I haven't done anything, I'm innocent."

Fox 2 reports that authorities believe up to six men have robbed, beaten and raped couples along McNichols in Detroit.

Over the last month,  three couples have been robbed beaten and raped, Fox 2 reports. The suspects forced the couples into alleys at gun point, stole their cell phones and raped the women, forcing the men to watch.

Last week, suspects Antoine Orr, 18, and 17-year-old Jordan Reese, 17,  were arrested in connection with the investigation.
