Three Michigan billionaires have joined the Forbes 400 list of the richest Americans.

Brothers Hank, 60, and Doug Meijer, 58, took the 69th spot on the list, with a combined wealth of $4.9 billion, claiming the Forbes 400 spot of their father, Frederik, who died in 2011. They run the Grand Rapids-based Meijer retail chain.

Five-Hour Energy founder Manoj Bhargava of Farmington Hills enters the list at 311. His company last year sold $600 million of the energy drinks. He has an estimated wealth of $1.5 billion.

Bhargava and the Meijer brothers join seven other Michigan residents and families on the list: Richard DeVos ($5.1 billion, rank 67), Al Taubman ($2.9 billion, rank 142), Mike and Marion Ilitch and family ($2.7 billion, rank 151), Ronda Stryker ($2.5 billion, rank 179), Dan Gilbert $1.9 billion, rank 250), John Brown ($1.2 billion, rank 360) Jon Stryker ($1.2 billion, rank 360).
