Secretary of State spokesman Fred Woodhams tells the Free Press that President-elect Donald Trump is entitled to object to a recount, with the Board of State Canvassers deciding the issue.
Green Party candidate Jill Stein has requested a recount in Wisconsin and indicated she plans to do the same in Michigan and Pennsylvania. She until Wednesday request the recount in Michigan. After that, Trump would then would have seven days to file written objections to the recount, delaying the process.
Attorney Mark Brewer, a former chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party, confirmed Monday he has been retained by the Stein campaign.
