Detroit Police announced Wednesday morning that they have two people in custody in the slaying of Rhonda Davis, 20, whose mutilated body was discovered in a burning  van on the city's west side on April 3, the Detroit News reports. She had been shot. 

Tom Greenwood of the Detroit News reports that a third suspect was charged with interfering with a criminal case, obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact. He is a habitual offender.

Davis was in a van in a field at Kendall and Westbrook streets, in an area near Interstate 96 and Outer Drive, the News reports. She had been shot several times and her limbs had been removed.
