Memo to punks: Don't mess with a vet.

Corey Gray, a 21-year-old Detroiter, faces two felony charges in Nazel parl after a 64-year-old former serviceman disarmed him during an alleged holdup try, The Oakland Press reports.

 

Police say the uninamed vet struggled with Gray at an East Eight Mile Road gas station after dark, according to reporter Michael P. McConnell.

 

“He told the suspect he didn’t have any money and just grabbed the gun,” said Hazel Park Police Chief Martin Barner. . . .

Gray was arraigned Friday in Hazel Park 43rd District Court on charges of armed robbery and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
