One of two guys who was shot and wounded by an irate 84-year-old man on Detroit's east side isn't happy with the bond set for the man.

Fox 2's Amy Lange reports that the victim, identified only as Paul, said he and another friend went to visit their buddy Roger on the east side May 17.

When they pulled up in their motorcycles, they saw Roger arguing with an elderly neighbor, war veteran Edward Simmons, who fired birdshot from a shotgun.

"I got 13 staples," Paul tells Lange. "They had to cram a tube down my throat to drain my lungs." He was shot in the shoulder, face and throat.

Paul said he's mad the shooter was released on $1,500 bond and was out of jail before he got released from the hospital.

"He was at home before I was even out of critical condition. I don't understand it," Paul said, adding that when he saw his friend Roger get shot, he was just trying to get out of the way.

"I have no idea who he is or what the problem was, and he shot me right in the throat," Paul told Fox2.

Another friend said authorities pulled form the shooter's house a Tommy gun with a 100-round clip, AK-47, AR-15, 30-30 and " a bunch of handguns."
