New details are revealed about the April 8 arrest of Novi principal Kim Warren outside Deerfield Elementary. WXYZ, covering her arraignment Monday, reports these disclosures:
- Two breathalyzer tests showed Warren registered .21 and then .20, more than twice the legal limit.
- The arresting officer found an open vodka bottle under Warren's feet in her vehicle.
- Two people had called 911 to report a driver swerving on Wixom Road near Grand River Avenue and then pulling into the school lot.
- A police video shows Warren slipping out of handcuffs while seated in the back of a patrol car.
The 44-year-old suspended principal was arraigned Monday on charges of High Blood Alcohol Content (Super Drunk) and Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle, reports Kimberly Craig of WXYZ.
