A video of a Grosse Pointe North High School boy student shoulder-checking and jumping into a female student is raising concerns among parents and teachers, Fox 2 reports.

Parents say the incident, which apparently happened about a month ago, isn't isolated, Randy WImbley reports. They also complain that students aren't disciplined properly at the suburban school.

The girl reportedly was bruised. Many parents learned what happened in an email from a Grosse Pointe South High School tennis coach, the station says.

"I read the poor girl was afraid to go back to school and they were not telling the parents what the outcome was of this other child that body slammed her into her locker whether he was suspended or not," says parent Diana Cascio. "We've made phone calls today and left messages, and we have not heard as of right now what was done with the student."
