With all this madness, these have been challenging times for real clowns.
The madness we speak of is not the race for president, but rather the "creepy clown" phenomena that has swept the country in recent weeks, Metro Detroit included. Creepy clowns have committed bank robberies and assaults and tried to scare the bejesus out of teenagers walking down the street.
"Dynamo," a 52-year-old Detroit clown, who performs at birthday parties and events, is concerned. He has had some strange experiences in recent weeks, from teenage girls running down the street in terror after spotting him in his car to being called a "creepy clown" in a report by Fox 2 when he walked up on a crime scene in his neighborhood.
Deadline Detroit visited "Dynamo" at his home on Detroit's west side to talk about the creepy clown phenomenon.
