Sorry, but we have high standards for judges, and we expect them not to lie, even if it's for personal reasons.

An investigation by the state Supreme Court concluded that Wayne County Judge Deborah Ross Adams lied to an Oakland County Circuit Court judge about making phone calls to her court.

Adams ,who was going through a divorce, called the court of the judge handling her case and used another name when calling, then lied about it under oath when the judge asked her about it,  according to to Donald G. Miller, a retired Macomb Circuit Court Judge appointed by the state Supreme Court earlier this year to investigate charges of perjury and forgery, according to the Detroit News.

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission filed a complaint against Ross Adams on April 19. The agency will make a recommendation on the judge to the State Supreme Court.
